As an active member of its surrounding communities, The Wall-Las Memorias Project is heavily involved in advocating for health and wellness on all levels for residents of Los Angeles County. The organization prides itself in being able to identify with residents on local community issues and helping mobilize community members to address health disparities. The Wall-Las Memorias Project partakes in a number of community events in the neighborhoods of Lincoln Heights, El Sereno, Highland Park, Boyle Heights, Huntington Park and Downtown L.A. throughout the year. Events include health fairs, community forums, neighborhood council meetings, L.A. City planning meetings, protests, wellness workshops and much more.
